The Competitive Season gets underway with the Pro 12 opener away to Ulster tomorrow (2nd Sept) night at 19:35.
The Dragons have named a strong team, with injuries to Elliott Dee and Brok Harris ruling them out, and Welsh Internationals Tyler Morgan and Hal Amos not yet ready to return after their summer tour to NZ. Captain Lewis Evans and Nick Crosswell are also deemed fit enough to take a places on the Bench after minor knocks.
A few of the Squad will make their competitive debuts for the Region, with Props Sam Hobbs, Tom Davies and Craig Mitchell all named in squad, alongside fly-half Nick MacLeod, wing Pat Howard and Centre Sam Beard. Our best wishes and congratulations go out to these new Dragons.
A lot of work in pre-season for the Dragons has been focused on playing a high-temp and passing game, and it will be good to see how these efforts translate against a high quality Ulster team.
